ABOUT
UPWARD BOUND IS A PROGRAM DESIGNED ESPECIALLY FOR YOU!
During each school year, an Upward Bound staff member will visit each high school on a weekly basis to provide personal attention to each Upward Bound student.

Our staff will assist with academic work, jobs, personal issues, college forms, etc. -- consistently meeting each student's individual needs.

There are Saturday workshops which discuss the areas of greatest interest to teens, such as conflict resolution, decision-making, and communication. There are also special workshops for juniors, seniors, and their parents to help make the college admission process less stressful.

Tutoring is available during Saturday workshops, at school visits, and during Summer Enrichment.

During the summer, students will come to the Terry Campus for six weeks. They will attend classes to prepare them for the next school year, participate in trips to colleges in nearby states, and enjoy themselves with other students who have similar goals.

Graduating seniors will be able to attend a regular college class of their choice with college students and receive college credit. We also encourage our students to take honors and AP courses as well as become dually enrolled with specific college courses.
