SCHOOL YEAR

Throughout the school year, students will meet with their Student Enrichment Coordinator (SEC) once per week.  These meetings incorporate tutoring sessions, skill building such as time management, organization, and general study techniques.  Additionally, the SEC will discuss SAT prep, scholarship opportunities, college essay preparation, etc.  These sessions can also include general counseling, group discussions, and individual attention to various topics that are important to high school students.

One Saturday per month, students will attend various workshops and/or field trips.  Workshops may include SAT preparation, conflict resolution, team building skills, diversity understanding, etc.  Field trips include leadership and team building, cultural/educational, and college tours.

Attendance for both activities - weekly visits and Saturday workshops - effects student stipend.
