National TRIO Day

Today is the day! National TRIO Day! A day for our Upward Bound family to give back to the community. This year, we have decided to conduct two different community service projects. Students who are 16 and over are in downtown Dover, DE contributing to a Habitat for Humanity build. Those under 16 (and some who chose not to build) are headed to Kenton, DE for an Adopt-A-Highway clean up (hopefully Mother Nature will keep it dry long enough to do some cleaning). Another important aspect of National TRIO Day is to spread awareness for our program. We want to give thanks to DelDOT and Habitat for Humanity for allowing us to give back in this way!
