Summer is ending. :(

We hope our students have enjoyed the summer program this year! The staff and teachers most definitely have!! August is here which means summer is slipping away from us. Soon, there will be school buses, backpacks, and the hustle and bustle of back to school.

The excitement of Upward Bound at DelTech doesn't end with the end of summer. To the contrary, our Student Enrichment Coordinators are hard at work planning and scheduling various Saturday workshops, college tours, and activities. For example, we will be hosting an SAT prep session in late September. Also in September, we will be giving back to our community through our Adopt-a-highway project which will be paired with an activity in the afternoon. Student Enrichment Coordinators will be visiting students weekly at schools as well.

October brings cooler weather as well as the start of the next financial aid (FAFSA) season. We will be having a Financial Aid workshop in early October for all interested seniors and their parents.

November, we get into the swing of college tours. If you have an idea for a college you would like to tour, be sure to tell your Student Enrichment Coordinator. We do our best to attend as many colleges and universities in the area.
